Plantmin DRP is a liquid micronutrient for a drip system. Drip irrigation has reduced water usage per unit area. A drip system is becoming popular as the water reaches the plant root zone with no wastage. Fertilizer application through the irrigation system is known as “Fertigation. The benefit of fertigation is that both water and nutrients directly reaches the active root zone of the plants. Fertigation is becoming more important to farmers due to its multifold advantages over conventional systems.
Plantmin DRP is a balanced micronutrient source for fertigation. The product contains six essential micronutrients i.e., Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Boron and Molybdenum. Nutrient requirement, the ratio among the nutrients and reaction are given importance while formulating this product technology.
Plantmin -DRP can be used for all crops through the drip system. One litre per acre is to be used every 15 days with proper dilution. Dosage and interval may be changed depending upon the crop and its growth stages.
